Portland, Maine

We probably could have spent another day in Portland because there is so much to see and do… and eat!

Sleep: We stayed at PortlandHarbor Hotel which we were super excited about because we know it has a good reputation, in fact their sister hotel, Chautauqua Harbor Hotel is only 1.5 hours away from us and we planned to stay there in the fall!  The location was fantastic and the hotel was VERY updated and nice.  The kids slept like angels and we enjoyed an AMAZING breakfast on their patio, lobster included! :)
Eat: We really wanted lobster as well as outside dining and stumbled across Luke’s Lobster which is right on a dock in the harbor.  It was so fun to see the boats coming in from catching fresh seafood.  The atmosphere was on point and the food was great too.
For coffees we went to a Sip ofEurope  which was sooo fun!  The owner is from Russia and we really enjoyed talking about Russia and travel with her and she made us the best crepes to go with our coffees
Play: I wish I could say more than what we did because I think that Portland has so much to offer, if only we had more time!  We did enjoy just walking around the city and the boys’ favorite spot was the playground along the water, which was just gorgeous.  After, we stopped at the Portland Head Lighthouse, which is beautiful and very scenic, however not much to do with the kids, so we didn't stay too long. ;-)
I definitely feel like we need to go back to Portland and experience all it has to offer, which I'm sure we will!
